Seasoned Pretzels

Need a quick and easy halftime snack for the big game? These seasoned pretzels are quick, easy and always a winner. To me the seriously  taste like football to me. My mom used to make these pretzels for many Penn State tailgates throughout my childhood so it seemed appropriate for me to make them for the football themed potluck at work. And another batch for the big game of course! Don’t worry….you aren’t actually making pretzels yourself, just dressing up a bag of store bought!

16 oz bag of sourdough hard pretzels

1 package of ranch dressing seasoning

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

1/4 tsp of lemon pepper

1/2 tsp of dill

1/4 cup of vegetable oil

Start by preheating your oven to 325. Take you bag of pretzels and slam it down on the counter a few times to break the pretzels up into bite size pieces. This is a good way to get out any aggression you may have!

Whisk the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, lemon pepper and dill into the vegetable oil. Toss pretzel pieces into the seasoned oil and make sure they all get coated. Spread the pretzels out on a baking sheet and then bake for 15-20 minutes until the pretzel are dry. Eat and enjoy!
